Time is precious.

So this post might be cheesy and has nothing to do with Korean.
The subject is actually life. I came across this quote:

‘The most important gifts you can give are your love, time, and attention. Slow down, take time to smile and enjoy loved ones… life goes by way too fast.’ – Nishan

It reminded me that life goes by really fast and that I actually don’t want to get older every year. Not only because I don’t want to be an old lady, but mostly because I don’t want to lose the precious people surrounding me. I came to this thought too because of Faith (drama). I know it’s just a drama, but it really teaches you how precious time is and that you lose people by time..¬† I have been thinking about this alot lately and you guys, please, let me tell you and listen to me, eventhough I do not know you, everybody deserves it: Follow your dreams! Whether it is learning korean and move there or becoming a singer. Time goed by fast and you only have one life, one chance.

That’s all I wanted to say.

First post ever!

Yes! My first post ever on wordpress!
I’m really excited to start on this blog and to study Korean.
All this time I wanted to study Korean, but I didn’t really do it. That has changed.

I found several  studybooks, but I still dont know which one to choose:

  • Yonsei Korean
  • Ehwa Korean
  • ¬†Integrated Korean

I see that other people tend to use different series at once, but how? Isn’t it that when you do, you only repeat the grammar and spend alot of money on it. I mean.. These books aren’t the cheapest.

I don’t think I’m going with integrated Korean. The books don’t have any answers for the exercises and how are you able to learn a language without any good answers, haha.
I can’t choose between Ehwa and Yonsei tho, because Yonsei has reading books included. I might combine the Ehwa books with the Yonsei reading books.
